Striped Geometric Blue Fabric

Today we are looking at a striped geometric blue fabric. Usually we go from the closeup to the yard, but this time we are going to check out this blue geometric fabric in an opposite order - from the yard to the closeup.

The yard reveals a nice striped pattern with alternating light blue and navy blue stripes and rotated squares in a mid range blue.

Fat quarter reveals an underlying striped pattern, so both stripes and squares are made of other stripes. 

Going further to the swatch we can see hourglass like geometric structures made of both navy and light blue but in different proportions. Additionally, what looked like rotated mid range blue squares are actually collections of purple, lavender and teal stripes neatly arranged together.

And finally, the closeup gives us a view of the pattern that reveals subtle differences in stripe sizes and colors.

Purple and Gold Paw Print Fabric

Continuing the paw print theme from yesterday today we are exploring a paw print pattern fabrics featuring a trendy color combo of purple and gold. Just to be clear, we are talking about printed fabric and the gold is an effect, so when we say gold, it actually means gold like yellow/ocher.

We start with the closeup of the purple and gold paw print fabric.

And a fat quarter which should give a good idea of the scale of the pattern.

Following two fabrics will be fat quarter examples and they differ from the above and each other in the scale of the pattern. First a slightly larger pattern.

Followed by an even larger scale pattern purple and gold paw print fabric.

The last two are especially suitable for large scale sewing and crafts projects.

To add more variety, we will close with a few different shades of purple while keeping the same scale and look of the pattern.

Paw Print Fabric

New day, new pattern to enjoy. Today, we have a busy paw print pattern and it's a dog paw print, so dog lovers get ready for a treat.

All the fabrics today are based on the same black paw print pattern and the backgrounds change creating different paw print fabrics.

We start out with just the pattern and the natural fabric color as a background. Black and white paw print fabric:

Black and red are a classic combination and we rarely pass over a chance to use it. So, here we have a black and red paw print cotton fabric. Keep in mind, though, that cotton is not the only fabric option. Along with several varieties of cotton there are two varieties of polyester and two varieties of linen fabric.

Going back to showing various background options we have a yellow paw print fabric.

Followed by lavender purple paw print pattern fabric. 

Hot pink paw print fabric.

Baby pink paw print fabric.

And finally, the last one will be an orange and black paw print fabric.

Pink, Magenta and Purple Birds and Hearts Fabric

Girly and cute are the two words most suitable to describe the fabric series presented in this post.

The pattern is made of lots of cute purple, pink and magenta birds of various sizes and some cute hearts of the same colors scattered around. The background is striped with informal artistic stripes. The first cute birds printed fabric has a combination of white and grey stripes for a background.

Next up is a fitting pink and gray background. The pink just adds to the girly and cute factor and overall look.

To fit the colors of the birds and create a predominantly purple design here we have a purple and grey background to create a nice bird pattern purple printed fabric.

For a change and more out of nature feel, we go to a light green stripe in the background.

The second part of this post will be dedicated to the same pink, magenta and hot purple birds and hearts pattern with one change, there won't be any stripes in the background. Although the stripes create movement and atmosphere, the solid background has it's own qualities with the minimalist and simple style that allows the spotlight to shine on the birds and hearts pattern entirely.

The most classic and minimalist is the no background or better said white background that makes a  birds and hearts white printed fabric.

Black background is a classic in its own way. It makes the design darker and more suitable for some crafting and sewing projects, say tote bags or cushions. It also makes the colors of the birds and hearts pop against it and look vibrant.

 As usually, a larger scale pattern will close this presentation. It's a large birds and hearts patter on a very pale yellow background.
