Continuing the theme from yesterday we are checking out a blue and coral ornamental stripe fabric today. The stripes are set against a black background creating a nice contrast.

Custom Name Decorative Stripe Fabric

Today we are stepping aside from the geometric patterns and getting into decorative stripe pattern. First on the list for checking out is a personalized decorative stripe fabric. We start of with the classic black and white and the look of the yard of fabric.


As we can see, the stripes are horizontal and visually pleasing without standing out as contrasting stripes.

The swatch view reveals the stripe structure and the Greek style decorative elements. Tucked between the stripes we have a sample name Penelope which can easily be personalized and replaced with a custom name adding a personal touch to the fabric.

In addition to the black and white fabric, we have several color variations of the background.

Geometric Blue Fabric Variations

Remember the geometric striped blue fabric we examined yesterday? This one:



Today we are adding 3 new blue geometric fabrics to the collections. Each pattern is made from the same base, as the one in the striped fabric above with the only difference being the arrangement of tiles to create the pattern.

Is't it wonderful how rearranging tiles can create  different visual effects? I find it quite mesmerizing.

Striped Geometric Blue Fabric

Today we are looking at a striped geometric blue fabric. Usually we go from the closeup to the yard, but this time we are going to check out this blue geometric fabric in an opposite order - from the yard to the closeup.

The yard reveals a nice striped pattern with alternating light blue and navy blue stripes and rotated squares in a mid range blue.

Fat quarter reveals an underlying striped pattern, so both stripes and squares are made of other stripes. 

Going further to the swatch we can see hourglass like geometric structures made of both navy and light blue but in different proportions. Additionally, what looked like rotated mid range blue squares are actually collections of purple, lavender and teal stripes neatly arranged together.

And finally, the closeup gives us a view of the pattern that reveals subtle differences in stripe sizes and colors.

Navy Blue and Rose Gold Dot Fabric

Not much explanation is needed to describe today's fabric of choice. It's a navy blue and rose gold dot fabric. The dots are artistic and scattered around and colored with shades of blush pink resembling rose gold.

Custom Monogram Paw Print Fabric

Paw print patterns are ruling the blog these days and we have another one to look at today. This time in addition to the paw print element we also have a custom monogram. The sample initial is the letter M throughout this page, but it can easily personalized into any custom monogram of your choice.

Are we ready for another paw print fabric set? Ready or not that's what we have on display today - it's a series of blue and white paw print fabric.

After reviewing different colors, and to end this post we are going to keep the same blue paw prints but change the scale of the pattern. Starting with very small to big. Blue and white paw print fabrics are shown as a yard of the fabric.

Retro 1960s Style Printed Fabric

Today on display we have two similar but still different retro style geometric pattern fabrics. Inspired by the style and fashion of the 1960s, these are geometric patterns in blue, pink and coral red. Nice to use in retro and vintage inspired sewing and crafting projects.

First fabric has more movement in the pattern.

Navy and Gold Anchor Fabric

Navy and gold anchor fabric opens this new blog. As a classic and always popular nautical fabric design this will surely inspire various projects. It can be used as fabric for clothing, bags and would look great as a pillow. Various sewing and crafting projects could make a good use of the gold anchor blue printed fabric.

We start with the classic gold anchor pattern where anchors are harmoniously tiled and evenly spaced all keeping the same orientation and size.

Next up is a very similar pattern to the previous one, only with anchors rotated to the left.

For a slightly different look we have anchors tilting to different sizes and pointing in different directions.

For a discrete look there is this dominantly navy fabric with small gold anchors.

On the opposite side of the spectrum there are these big, closely tiled gold anchors on the same navy blue fabric.

Similar to the previous one is this gold anchor fabric with anchors tiled in a slightly different way.

For a larger project, like maybe a tote bag or a pillow, we have this fabric with a larger pattern.

For an even larger scale project we have the next fabric which features just two large gold anchors over a yard of navy blue fabric. This could be useful for a pillow project where you can have a large dominant anchor on each side of the pillow.
